Peter A. Clarkin received his undergraduate degree from Columbia University in 1980 and his law degree from Tulane University School of Law in 1983. He has been a member of the Bars of the State of Louisiana since 1983 and the State of Rhode Island since 1984. Mr. Clarkin is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, the First and Second Circuit Courts of Appeal, and the United States Supreme Court. He has extensive trial experience in the Rhode Island Superior Courts and the United States District Court for the District of Rhode Island, and significant appellate experience before the Rhode Island Supreme Court. Mr. Clarkin has prepared and tried cases in the areas of product liability, landowner liability, personal injury, insurance coverage, business litigation, zoning, land use, and municipal law. Mr. Clarkin previously served as counsel for the South Kingstown Housing Authority and is presently the Town Solicitor for the Town of East Greenwich.
